Welcome to Adin. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal health information with the highest levels of clinical integrity. This policy outlines our multi-layered encryption and data handling practices.

1. Data Collection Range

/ Biological Metrics: Vitals, heart rate, and activity levels synced via Apple HealthKit.
/ Clinical Records: Medications, diagnosed conditions, and laboratory results provided for AI synthesis.
/ Intelligence Context: Multi-modal inputs, including meal photography and chat history, used to generate personalized health briefings.

2. AI Intelligence Architecture

Adin's AI is built to synthesize your health data into clear, actionable insights, and your data is used exclusively to support your personal health journey. We do not sell or share your identifiable health data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Clinical Safety Infrastructure

Adin utilizes Firebase Cloud security infrastructure and Firestore Security Rules. This ensures that your sensitive biological data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and is accessible only by your authenticated account.

4. Data Sharing

Adin does not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared only with the following service providers strictly for operating the app:

/ Google Firebase: Secure database storage, authentication, and cloud functions.
/ RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management. No health data is shared.
/ Google Health Connect / Apple HealthKit: Read-only vital sync. No data is written back without explicit consent.

5. Deleting Individual Data

You can delete specific health records at any time without deleting your account. To remove individual data:

/ Medications: Open the app → Medications → swipe or tap the delete icon on any entry.
/ Conditions: Open the app → Conditions → tap delete on any condition.
/ Lab Results: Open the app → Lab Results → delete any uploaded result.
/ Appointments: Open the app → Appointments → cancel or delete any appointment.
/ Chat History: Chat messages can be cleared from the Messages section.

To request deletion of all personal data without deleting your account, email info@proofmed.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Account Deletion

To permanently delete your Adin account and all associated data:

1. Open the Adin app and sign in.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion when prompted.

What is deleted immediately: Your account credentials, health profile, all medications, conditions, lab results, appointments, nutrition logs, chat history, and audit logs.

What is retained: Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics that cannot be linked back to you (retained up to 90 days). Subscription transaction records are retained by RevenueCat as required by Apple / Google billing policies.

If you are unable to access the app, you may also request account deletion by emailing info@proofmed.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal and health data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Backups are purged within 90 days.
